DESCRIPTION:
EPW - Charles Frodsham, London, fusee with later modification to one-minute tourbillon, 30-hour winding indicator, 52mm, silver OF consular case bearing Chester hallmarks for 1890, incuse "J F" marking possibly for casemaker John Fleckner, white enamel DS dial, KWKS, modified from original design to a lever escapement on rotating tourbillon platform, diamond endstone, gilt mvt, s#03119 with matching serial number to dial.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, winding indicator only advancing a portion of its indexed range, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, typical fine to micro-fine scratches; dial with small hls above indicator register, edge flake under bezel at 8:30; seconds-hand with a bend, other hands excellent; case shows little wear, shallow dent at right perimeter of rear, excellent engine turning detail; tight bow; good glass crystal.
